2007 ELECTIONS

Salaam Aleykum dear Afghan Society of New Mexico Members,
It has been my distinct pleasure to serve as your president for the last two years. I’d like to thank my board for their hard work and dedication and the community for putting their trust in us. The size and accomplishments of our community have developed tremendously. We have given our best efforts to our organization this year. Please join me in celebrating the successful completion of our fiscal year. Not to mention, welcoming our new board members.

Our 2007 election took place on April 29th, 2007 at the Afghan Community Center (Madhavi Center) located off of Lomas Blvd. in Albuquerque. We celebrated the grand opening of the center by reciting and completing the 30 Juz of Quran E Sharif. This was followed by quick summary of the last years accomplishments of ASNM and then we began our Election.
