Post Parenting Workshop

The Parenting Workshop was a wonderful Success. We had the workshop at the Northwest building at the Newly renovated Islamic Center of New Mexico in Albuquerque. We were very pleased with the speakers. Their knowledge and expertise of the material certainly meet and exceeded our expectations. The overall evaluation of the workshop, as indicated by the participants was, EXCELLENT!

Most participants were very encouraged by the material covered and asked for the speakers to return. Some even indicated that the material covered would have made their lives easier many years ago if they were armed with these new skills then.

I would like to thank all those involved in the workshop planning.

I would like to specially thank Sahar Anwar for her devoted efforts in running the workshop and volunteering nine hours of her valuable time for the sake of Allah. Sister Munira Ellis also helped volunteer her time on Saturday. Thank you sisters...

I will continue my efforts in bringing you workshops of this type and hope for a larger Afghan turnout in the next one. We are working to assemble a Marriage Workshop for 2007.
