Let's kick off the Blog with a easy discussion of: Who is the best Afghan Singer? and which era of Afghan songs is more intresting the old music or the new one's?
Also, what does everyone think about inviting musicians to Afghan Society parties? any one singer in particular in mind?

Certainly Saraban was a great singer... He insanity/depression made him even better, he he. He used parts of his brain that most never do. Ahmad Zahir was one of the all time greats. What about Mr. Saddich???? do you know who I am talking about? He was one of the greats. His poetry is like magic and his voice amazing. The likes of Ahmad/Saraban/Nashinas will be impossible to replace. What do you think of "Disco" Shugaie? and the new stuff out?
